Business Continuity is achieved after disaster recovery. It involves planning for non-IT related features of a business organization such as key personnel, crisis communication, facilities, and reputation protection. It includes three types of control measures: Preventive measures which are aimed at preventing a negative event from occurring, Detective measures which is concerned at discovering unwanted events, and Corrective measures which aims at restoring the system after an unwanted event or disasters. These measures should be documented at all times and tested periodically.
