As an IT Specialist you will be responsible for providing on-site and remote helpdesk assistance to clients as well as internal projects.
Duties:
- Respond to clients’ needs across Ottawa
- Provide technical support for any hardware and/or software issues
- Help clients install and setup their networks and peripherals
- Assist clients in dealing with computer and/or software issues
- Document and manage clients’ networks
- Keep detailed log of all activities and service tickets
Qualifications:
- Solid experience installing/troubleshooting/repairing hardware issues such as RAM, motherboards, video cards, hard drive, SCSI, Raid controller, routers, and switches
- Good understanding of networking technologies and concepts (TCP/IP, Windows networks, HTTP and FTP
- Customer Service experience
- 3 years of IT service experience
- 2 years of sales or customer service experience
- Ability to proficiently use MS Office suite programs
